After signing up to attend a HeartCode course, you will then receive an email with step by step details to complete the online portion of the course you've selected.

Once the online course is completed, you will bring a copy of your completion certificate to your scheduled Hands-On Skills session.

Blended Learning Heartsaver

Heartsaver courses are for those with limited to no medical training. This course is recommended for anyone requiring certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid such as teachers, camp counselors, daycare workers etc...

*You must complete a Hands- On Skills session to receive a completion certificate.

HeartCode BLS

BLS (Basic Life Support) Provider course is designed for healthcare providers and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of settings or for those in a healthcare training program.

*You must complete a Hands- On Skills session to receive a completion certificate.

HeartCode ACLS

The HeartCode ACLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the advanced management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes nurses, physicians, and paramedics, as well as others who need an ACLS course completion card for job or other requirements.

HeartCode PALS

The HeartCode PALS Course is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. This includes nurses, physicians, and paramedics, as well as others who need an PALS course completion card for job or other requirements.

What Is HeartCode/ Blended Learning?

HeartCode is the online portion of Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, or PALS blended learning that will prepare students for hands-on practice and testing of skills. It uses a personalized adaptive algorithm. After completing the eLearning component, students perform their skills with an Instructor at their scheduled Skills Session.

Students must successfully complete both the online portion and the hands-on skills session to receive a BLS, ACLS, or PALS Provider Card that is valid for two years.
